Nine straight days in ketosis–I’m on a roll! Following my version of Primal/Paleo combined with intermittent fasting really keeps my carbohydrate intake low and, for the most part, ensures the majority of those carbs come from whole fruits and vegetables. Low carb means no blood sugar spikes which means less insulin which makes me a fat burning machine! :) Hello abs :)

I recently posted about how I nourish my body by drinking many of my veggies–but not juicing–and today I used my Vitamix to whip up a great green smoothy to accompany my eggs and sweet potato hash browns fried in bacon grease.

For dinner I tried a new (and easy) recipe from one of my favorite cookbooks, Everyday Paleo, called Spice Rub Crock Pot Chicken. Absolutely awesome tasting!

When I make healthy food choices my productivity and mood seem so good–coincidence? I say, “No!” How does the food you eat drive your mood? Leave me a comment and, as always…

Be smart in the kitchen and a beast in the gym!

Ok, seriously, the spice rub crock pot chicken was amazing! My only problem was making it on a day I was home all day. The house smelled aawesome! Couldn’t wait to eat and I was not disappointed!
    thanks for sharing the recipe.

And sooo easy to make right? That is the great part, couple of minutes of quick prep and then about 5 hours of torture while the house fills up with the aroma.

      So worth the wait!!!!!
