Too Busy To Eat
I had anticipated a low-key Monday work day as this is a short, holiday week. Wrong! Even with a bunch of normal Monday calls canceled due to many folks taking vacations, I seemed to be non-stop all day. Days like today are why I love being a fat burning machine, not dependent on glucose for fuel and therefore forced to eat every few hours or face headaches, dizziness, or uncontrolled hunger. I had my first meal today at nearly 2pm and this is after a pretty intense workout first thing. I can’t tell you how liberating this is for me.
I started the morning with my daily 5g dose of creatine followed by a can of Celsius and BCAAs on the way to the gym. The quick lunch consisted of leftovers and dinner included a giant salad with scrambled eggs. I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving in a couple days and, as always…
