Business Lunch, Hard To Log

korean-sushiIt’s Tuesday and I’m fully back into my work schedule which included my first business lunch of 2015. You can see from the above picture, the lunch was not exactly my “ideal” food choice, but I’m not stressing. For me, it’s not about being perfect, it’s about consistency. By the way, the food was absolutely delicious! :)

The thing that does stress me is trying to accurately log a meal like this in MyFitnessPal. I know my entry is not perfect and, for whatever reason, that bothers me. Repeat after me, Dan, “It’s not about being perfect!”

Woke up this morning and started the day with my normal routine:

  • Perform ketosis test: positive, body back in a ketogenic state!
  • Take my daily dose of creatine: check!
  • Snap my brain to attention with Celsius: bam!

I kept my intermittent fasting routine going by eating my first meal a bit a after noon and my last meal at about 8pm. By the time I got home from my son’s swim practice, where I walked about five miles while he swam, I was ready to eat! :)

I sure hope your week is shaping up nicely and, as always…

Be smart in the kitchen and a beast in the gym!

I totally agree…I am friends with people on the polar opposite political spectrum and enjoy a civil de0abe&#823t;but I will say that Facebook has given me a chance to see what people are really like…some of it has been rewarding and some not. I do unfriend racist and homophobic people who continually post hateful things because I have no desire to be friends in any form with them.
