Catchin’ Up On ZZZs
Woke up today feeling refreshed and great! Maybe getting over 11 hours, according to my FitBit One tracker, of sleep has something to do with it? You think? 😀 Clearly my body needed to catch up, which makes for a couple of reasons:
- Several nights of less than 8 hours during the week
- Three days of heavy weight lifting workouts during the week
My body needs sleep and recovery and when I don’t get it during the week–shame on me–it catches up on the weekend (if I allow it)!
From dietary perspective, that is following my version of a Primal/Paleo diet, I did okay today (other than straying a bit from the “avoid grains” goal by indulging in popcorn for an afternoon snack).
I know I said I wouldn’t tell anyone what to do, but I urge you to take control of your health–do what works for you and, as always…
