Back To Work

Woke up feeling great and ready to take on a new work week. Since today is a workout day, I conducted my daily ketosis test, which showed my body in a ketogenic state, first thing and then took my 5g dose of creatine. At 4:50am my son and I headed to the YMCA and, on the way, I slammed a can of Celsius energy drink and my pre-workout BCAAs.

As you probably know, I take the BCAAs before and during my workout because I conduct my lifting in a fasted state. This brand of BCAAs contains no calories so it doesn’t throw me out of my fasted state and I can maintain my intermittent fasting routine.

1-26-2015-featuredMy food choices pretty much followed my version of Primal/Paleo eating with a smoked chicken salad for lunch and leftover, homemade chili for dinner. Chili tastes better the day after, doesn’t it? :)
