Real Food Rocks!

Today I consumed a near ideal diet for me–my version of Primal/Paleo–featuring real food. I had sesame grilled salmon salad for breakfast/lunch, almonds and fruit for a snack, and leftover balsamic chicken and sausage with asparagus for dinner.
I also kept to my intermittent fasting eating window by consuming the above between noon and 8pm. Since I worked out first thing, I did take my daily dose of creatine, fire up on caffeine (love my Celsius) and pre-workout BCAAs on the way to the gym.
For the second day in a row my body showed in a ketogenic state, no doubt due to a clean, lower carb diet over the past three days. Not coincidentally, my weight seems to have headed back toward my normal 160ish lbs.
So for me, real food, no sugar results in me being a lean, fat-burning machine. How does real food affect your life? Leave me a comment and, as always…
